Sprouts aren’t just for the birds. My kids eat them by the handful as do we. Sprouting regular organic wheat, rye, barley, sunflower seeds, lentils, split peas, spelt, kamut, pumpkin seeds, and garbanzo beans works miracles in increasing vitamins 3-8 times, making all the amino acids available, neutralizing phytates which irritate the intestinal tract, as well as tripling the amount of available Vitamin C.
